The Franco-Nigerian chamber of commerce and Industry (FNCCI) was founded in the year 1985 with a primary responsibility to provide a platform for the private sector of France and Nigeria to exchange ideas and enhance economic relations.

The chamber today has grown into a professional organization with over 200 member organization made up of French and Nigerian companies with business interest all over the world from all sectors, forming a dynamic and powerful business network.

The chamber benefits from a large network in France and other European countries, and is a member of CCI France International, which regroups more than 34,000 members of our network in 85 countries.

The FNCCI as the representative organ for the business community in France and Nigeria maintain regular consultations with the government and non-government agencies that affect business operations in Nigeria like: NAFDAC, NDLEA, CUSTOMS, NIPC, AND OTHER LOCAL AND BI-LATERAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, amongst others.

A mission to develop and foster economic, commercial and financial relationships between France and Nigeria. To achieve this, we provide a comprehensive information platform, promote Members’ interests to industry leaders, key decision makers and provide an extensive range of communication tools.”

Business Relationship is your most valuable tool for business success. We organise more than 10 events a year, providing a wide variety of corporate seminars, workshops and social gatherings which represent invaluable networking opportunities.

The French Chamber in Lagos delivers a full range of services, should you simply wish to gain market knowledge or want to develop a new commercial activity in Nigeria. These services include among others, a first market approach, business missions, support for company set-up, domiciliation, commercial representation, fit-to-measure solutions for exhibiting at major regional exhibitions.

The FNCCI, as the representative organ for the business community in France and Nigeria, maintain regular consultations with the government and government agencies that affect business operations in Nigeria. These organizations ranges from ministries to agencies of government.

We gather working groups for our members to take part in, giving them the opportunity to share their professional experience and obtain industry update. With a 135 of our membership composed of non-French nationals, we take pride in the diversity of our member companies. The dynamism and vitality of our members have been instrumental in making our Chamber an organisation that is well-known and appreciated by a great number of business people in Nigeria.
